Privacy in brief
Controller: Vegan Empire GmbH (address above), represented by the managing directors Tobias Neuschulte and Raffaela Raab, info@vegan-empire.com.
Hosting and server logs: The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus). When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page, browser and operating system, referrer) to deliver the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place; logs are deleted automatically after a short time.
Enquiry forms: When you send an enquiry (stage, school, TV, podcast, brands, press), we process your name, email address, optionally phone and organisation, and the content of your enquiry – for school applications also the link to your video and your consent to recording and publication – in order to handle and answer it (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The enquiry is sent by email to our management mailbox. We send an automatic confirmation of receipt to the email address you give; so that an address gets at most one confirmation in 24 hours, we store a hash of it for 24 hours. Every enquiry is checked automatically for spam, abuse and bots; for rate limiting we briefly store an irreversible hash of your IP address. We delete enquiries once they are dealt with and no retention duties apply, at the latest after 12 months. Threats or criminal content are kept as evidence as long as needed.
Fonts, cookies, tracking: The site does not load fonts from external servers, sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services.
Links: Links to Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube, Spotify, Rumble and other sites are plain links; data is only transferred when you click them, and the provider’s privacy policy then applies.
Embedded videos and the archive: Preview images and transcripts come from our own server, and the archive search runs entirely in your browser – your search terms are not transmitted or stored. Your saved list is stored only in your browser. Only when you click “Play” is the player of the provider loaded – TikTok (TikTok Technology Limited, Dublin, Ireland), Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland), YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland; via youtube-nocookie.com) or Rumble (Rumble Inc., Longboat Key, Florida, USA) – and your IP address and technical data of your device are sent to that provider, which may set its own cookies (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, consent by clicking). More: TikTok, Google/YouTube, Rumble. Transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors.
Your rights: You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future. Write to info@vegan-empire.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for us in Brandenburg (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg).
